At RSscan Lab we have created advanced foot scan systems that can benefit any discipline interested in the mechanics of the foot.
Using our foot scan systems as part of your research into the workings of the foot, or for improved diagnosis of individual patients means you have comparative data at your fingertips. Our foot scan systems are available with various sizes of pressure plates as a complete analogue system or with single size plate (0.5mm> 50x40m) with a high speed USB connection system.
Our foot pressure plates come in a range of sizes up to 2 metres long each suited to different areas of investigation including gait analysis, balance and pressure/force. These plates are fitted with tiny sensors that map the foot and display graphic detailed information with up to 500 frames a second available.
We have also developed an insole foot scanning system that can measure shod feet to investigate how the feet respond in daily activities. It is activated by remote control and gives pressure data while the patient is wearing shoes.
Our software is available in both clinical and research packages in any length of plate, the research option coming with extra comparison functions. The clinician’s package comes with database function for better comparison of a patient’s progress, graphics for foot pressure analysis and 2D and 3D imagery of the foot for initial examination of each foot.
