BALL FOOT PAIN

For advanced diagnostic help in ball foot pain, RSscan Lab’s foot scanning plates produce detailed information for every patient allowing highly accurate comparison and monitoring.

Our Footscan technology is the perfect solution to all your diagnostic and research needs with data gathering on all aspects of dynamic foot function. With specialised areas in pressure/force, balance and gait analysis, our software will enable you to compare your results across databases and to network within departments. All of these aspects result in better identifications of foot arch pain sites or for finding the poor functions leading to ball foot pain.

Using our advanced foot scanning sensor plates means that anyone experiencing foot arch pain or other problems associated with abnormalities in foot mechanics can be assessed quickly and with ease. Comparisons for the foot at rest and in motion are available in the form of pressure/force graphs and dynamic 2D and 3D images.

Our sensor plates are available in three different lengths, all of which are exceedingly durable and provide 500 frames of data a second for exceptionally in-depth analysis.

We have also developed an insole foot scanning system that allows for shod pressure measurement analysis. This system is operated by remote control and allows examination of the pressures acting on the foot in its natural environment whilst performing daily activities. This technology is ideal for identifying problems in-shoe so you can advise patients on footwear suitable to their foot functions.

The insole system provides in-shoe pressure measurement data and is triggered by remote control. This allows data to be collected from various activities in their natural environments. The insole system uses the same size sensors and recording speeds as the footscan® plates.

analogue / usb
Connection of computer to footscan® systems is established by either:
  • Transfer of data throught an ANALOGUE box.
  • High speed USB connection
synchronisation
The footscan® systems can be synchronised and used to trigger at the touch of a button other data collecting instruments such as Force platforms, Cameras (High speed and video) and EMG systems.
sizes
The analogue footscan® plates are available in three sizes:
0.5m> 50x40cm(4096 sensors)
1m > 100x40cm(8192 sensors)
2m > 200x40cm(16384 sensors)

The USB footscan® plate is available in one size:
0.5m > 50x40m(4096 sensors)
